General
The deployment settings are required to perform Deployments (i.e. deploying reports or tasks from one instance to another instance.).
Managing Deployment Settings
To configure deployment settings you have to connect to the Management Service of Mail & Deploy, click the Settings item in the main menu, and then click the Deployment tile. These deployment settings determine to which instance deployments from the current instance will be performed.
Properties
You can set the following properties:
Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Is Active | When enabled, content from the instance can be deployed to other instances. |
| Protocol | The protocol to use when connecting to the instance to deploy to. |
| Host | The host name or IP address of the instance to deploy to. |
| Port | The port of the endpoint of the instance to deploy to. |
Example: You have to set these properties according to the Server Settings of the instance to deploy to.
