Overview
Version 3.6 builds on all the features of version 3.5 but adds a new licensing system and a new Power BI datasource.
IMPORTANT
Before upgrading to version 3.6 please make sure you have contacted us for a new license which you will need to install to enable the datasources.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in the Task's parameter's Hub Input Field > Hidden property. The property was not shown properly in the UI.
- Fixed an issue with empty inner nested repeaters in Microsoft Excel.
- Fixed an issue when displaying the grand totals in a table as they were displayed in the wrong order.
- Fixed an issue when using the Row Insertion Mode Insert Cells together with the Synchronize Cell Insertion option. This issue was introduced in version 3.5.20 and it was evident only when using it within a Repeater.
- Fixed an issue with Execution Entries marked as skipped when a Task was activated or reactivated with a Start Date that is set in the past.
Improvements
- The Impersonate action has been added. Use this action in Tasks to impersonate users in Qlik Sense, that is, Mail & Deploy will connect to Qlik using the user id defined in the Impersonate action, instead of using the service account or custom credentials used in the Datasource definition, therefore applying the user's Section Access. - Inphinity Forms is now supported.
Known Issues
- If upgrading to this version for a version below 3.5x, the Datasources that were defined to use Custom Windows Account are set to Service Account after the upgrade. Please set it back to Custom Windows Account manually.
- There is a timeout with the Vizlib Pivot Table as Chart element when using it together with Qlik Sense November 2023 Patch 2 and higher and having more than 10 Vizlib charts in the same report.
- Need to manually restart Mail & Deploy if you set a custom callback URL for the Azure AD User Directory.
- M&D doesn't support html code in the Vizlib Pivot and Vizlib Table headers. It does support html code in the data values.
- The filters are not enforced when using the action Activate Datasource Book, which apply filters, and Filter Datasource Field. To enforce the filters, use only the action Filter Datasource Field.
