# Reports

### General

When a [User](/release36/docs/users) clicks *Reports* in the menu of the hub, a list of all [Reports](/release36/docs/introduction-to-reports) for which the user has required [Authorizations](/release36/docs/introduction-to-authorizations) will be displayed.

### Requesting a Report Document

By clicking Request Document a user can request a report document created from a Report. The following properties can be provided:

| Name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| File Type | The file type in which you want the report document to be created. The available file types depend on the type of report. Some file types support additional [File Type Settings](/release36/docs/file-type-settings) which can be provided on the Settings tab. |
| Parameters | If the [Report](/release36/docs/introduction-to-reports) has one or more [Parameters](/release36/docs/parameters), values for those parameters may be provided. |
| Add To Library | When enabled, the created report document will be added to the [Library](/release36/docs/library). |
| Send By E-Mail | When enabled, the created report document will be sent to the e-mail address of the [User](/release36/docs/users). This property is only available if the user has an e-mail address. |
| Datasource Object | The [Datasource](/release36/docs/introduction-to-datasources) object (e.g. a bar chart or other visualization) from which the report document shall be created. |
| Document Title | An [Expression](/release36/docs/introduction-to-mail-and-deploy-expressions) that needs to return a string that contains the title to assign to the created report document. The document title is displayed in the [Hub Library](/release36/docs/library). |
| File Type | The file type in which the report document shall be created. The available file types depend on the [Datasource](/release36/docs/introduction-to-datasources) object from which the report document shall be created. |
| Export As Table | If you select this option, the actual data behind the visualization will be contained in the report document rather than the graphical representation; in that case, not all file types are available. |
| Page Size | The page size with which the report document shall be created; this property is only applicable for file types that support page layouting (e.g. Microsoft Word Documents). |
| Page Orientation | The page orientation with which the report document shall be created; this property is only applicable for file types that support page layouting (e.g. Microsoft Word Documents). |
| File Type Settings | Some file types support [File Type Settings](/release36/docs/file-type-settings) (e.g. a password with which to protect the report document if it is created as Adobe PDF Document) which can be specified. |

### Subscribing to a Report

By clicking *Create Subscription* you can create a [Subscription](/release36/docs/subscriptions) for a report.
