# Remove Datasource Field Filter Restrictions

### General

This type of action can be used to remove filter restrictions from a [Datasource](/release36/docs/introduction-to-datasources) field.

**Example:** Let's suppose you have a [QlikView Datasource](/release36/docs/introduction-to-qlikview) and that datasources contains a field named Year which has the option Always One Selected Value enabled. Mail & Deploy cannot perform filters on that field if that option is enabled; you can use this type of action to remove the restriction for the duration of the [Task](/release36/docs/tasks) or creation of a report document from a [Report](/release36/docs/introduction-to-reports).

NOTE

Removing filter restrictions is only available for [Datasources](/release36/docs/introduction-to-datasources) that support filter restrictions.
