Article summary

General

The export mode of the extension can be used to export a single visualiation (or a complete sheet). A visualization can be exported by clicking the  button of the extension.

Properties

The following properties can be set for the export:

Name

Description
TitleThe title of the exported report document; this will be the name of the download and e-mail attachment.
ObjectThe object to export; you can either export the sheet on which the extension is placed by selecting Complete Sheet or a single visualization.
File TypeThe file type of the report document; the available file types depend on the object to be exported.
Page SizeThe page size of the exported report document; this property is only available for file types which support page layouts.
Page OrientationThe page orientation of the exported report document; this property is only available for file types which support page layouts.
Export As TableWhen enabled, the export will contain the data behind the chart as a table rather than a graphical representation (an image). This property is only applicable if the exported object supports to be exported as a table.
Immediate DownloadWhen enabled, the report document will be immediately available for download after it has been created.
Send By E-MailWhen enabled, the report document will be sent to the user by e-mail when it has been created. This property is only available if the extension is in impersonated mode.
Apply Current FilterWhen enabled, the data contained in the export will be limited by the current selection.

Immediate Download

When creating an export that will be immediately available for download, a spinning icon in the extension appears that indicates that the export is currently being created. As long as the spinning icon is displayed, no other feature of the extension can be used. Once the download is ready, a green button with a tick will be displayed and the file can be downloaded by clicking that button.
