# Remove Datasource Field Filter

### General

This type of action can be used to remove all filters of a [Datasource](/release36/docs/introduction-2) field.

### Properties

This type of action has the following properties:

| Name | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Datasource Field | The [Datasource](/release36/docs/introduction-2) field from which to remove the filter. |

### Restrictions

Some [Datasource](/release36/docs/introduction-2) fields have filter restrictions on them.

**Example**: If the field is part of a [QlikView Datasource](/release36/docs/introduction-3) and has the option *Always One Selected Value* enabled, that option restricts filtering on that field.

Mail & Deploy cannot perform filter operations on such fields, but a [Remove Datasource Field Filter Restrictions Action](/release36/docs/remove-datasource-field-filter-restrictions) can be used to remove those restrictions.
